Grapes: 100% Sangiovese
An incredible Brunello from these high elevation, organic vineyards. Harvest happens by hand, and destemmed before fermentation. Fermentation happens with indigenous yeasts in cement, with the wine then being aged for four years in Slavonian casks.
According to Robert Parker, "The organic La Torre 2019 Brunello di Montalcino is elegant and tight with floral notes, iris root and a sweet note of cherry confit or crème de cassis. It has a cushiony feel, or bounce, and the wine envelopes the whole palate without pulling too strong in any one direction. Some sweetness carries to the palate".
