The now legendary Beaux Frères Vineyard, nestled in the heart of Oregon's renowned Willamette Valley, was founded in 1986 by brothers-in-law Michael Etzel and Philip McDaniel, this family-owned vineyard has gained a stellar reputation for its exceptional Pinot Noir.
Their Upper Terrace vineyard was planted in 2000 entirely with Dijon types of Pinot Noir, just as those were becoming available in Oregon, and seems to have benefitted from that among many other lucky and/or thoughtful decisions. This fabulous 2022 vintage sits at the fuller-bodied end of the Pinot scale; rich and textured with fabulously balanced red and dark fruits playing with a classic Willamette earthy finish. Amazing.
