Centopassi farms 94 hectares of confiscated mafia land in the West of Sicily, close to Palermo. A brave cause which offers a mafia-free environment, where locals can work legally, away from corruption and have access to health and welfare benefits.
This Sicilian red blend is full of bright blackberry character with hints of black plum and peppered spice. There is a balsamic note that accompanies the fruit that gives way to well-integrated tannins and a smooth, lingering finish.
