Only made in exceptional vintages, this is a blend of grapes from 3 terroirs: Grande Côte, in the commune of Verdigny (clay-limestone soils), Embouffants in the commune of Chavignol (limestone soils), and Les Chailloux (flint soils) in the commune of Sancerre.
Assembled from the oldest and best parcels from all over the estate, this was first made in 1990 and has only had 9 vintages since. After pressing fermentation happens with the wine being aged in barrel for 12 months.
