The Mellot family have been making wine in Sancerre for over 500 years.
"La Demoiselle” is their release made from a shockingly steep, thin slope of flinty soil at high altitude in the heart of Sancerre. Grown biodynamically, this is an incredibly mineral example of Sancerre, but with 10 months of ageing in neutral oak vats, has a touch of body and incredibly complexity. Delicious.
