The Roserock vineyard, purchased in 2013, is an exceptional terroir, marked by volcanic soils, cooler temperatures, and an ideal elevation range. Roserock reflects the singular Drouhin approach, celebrating patience and nuance, elegance and complexity, and above all, finesse. Think of this as Oregon terroir with Burgundian soul!

The Roserock Chardonnay is handpicked into small totes from three distinct estate blocks, and whole-cluster pressed. The wine is fermented in French Oak barrels (20% New) to enhance complexity and preserve its vibrant, fruit-forward character. Once malolactic fermentation is complete, barrels are blended to create a Chardonnay of balance and finesse that highlights the unique qualities of the Roserock vineyard.

The 2021 Roserock Chardonnay is defined by balance and precision, two trademark characteristics of this Eola-Amity Hills vineyard. A layered bouquet includes fragrant gardenia and perfumed honeysuckle, while acidity and nuanced stone fruit flavors energize the palate. Subtle minerality adds depth and refinement. It is another classic expression of the site.
